Rubiyaat Necklace K4NL09
Omar Khayyam was a poet who lived around a thousand years ago in Persia. It was the age of beauty. Omar described the beauty in 4 line poems called Rubiyaat. It is still debated whether the beauty was greater or the Rubiyaat.
The necklace is the artisians description of beauty, a burst of color on a dull exterior and probably surpasses the beauty that inspired this.
Surpass yourself. Adorn the Rubiyaat. Its a sure hit.

Each of the pieces of this collection are handcrafted in very remote villages up high in the mountains in the area what was earlier called the Hindu Kush range. The artisans have been doing this for generations without the help of modern gadgets and amenities. The result are these breathtaking pieces. They have far more beauty and grace than the machine made jewellery. It is common to find some observations like asymmetrical patterns, some stones different or missing, something bigger or smaller, small difference between a pair of earrings or bangles, etc. These are not defects, but part of the authenticity and heritage of this type of handmade jewellery.
