Grand Vintage Choker K4CH10
This vintage Kuchi neckpiece style was handcrafted during the mid 1900's in Central Asia. Multiple large stone-encrusted pendants and old coins rim this colorful necklace.
The neckband was hand-beaded for added color, and is lined for comfort. The pendants have a rich age patina that only the passage of time can create.
Surely one of the pieces for keepsakes and passing on to the dear ones when the time comes!

Each of the pieces of this collection are handcrafted in very remote villages up high in the mountains in the area what was earlier called the Hindu Kush range. The artisans have been doing this for generations without the help of modern gadgets and amenities. The result are these breathtaking pieces. They have far more beauty and grace than the machine made jewellery. It is common to find some observations like asymmetrical patterns, some stones different or missing, something bigger or smaller, small difference between a pair of earrings or bangles, etc. These are not defects, but part of the authenticity and heritage of this type of handmade jewellery.
